Doordarshan National Blog is not on facebook anymore. |
Most of you may have realized that the 'Doordarshan National Blog' page on Facebook is no longer available. It was a place where I could inform you about a new post or post a video related to the Old Doordarshan and got to hear from you through your comments. But, Facebook in its own judgement decided to take it down without any warning. No Message - No email. Nothing !! The page Disappeared. I've written to Facebook but the Social Media Giant is in no mood to listen to its customers who reach out to it through Social Media. So, here I am now without a Facebook page that vanished along with precious Fans and years of content. I don't intend to start another page on Facebook lest it may meet the similar fate. So, I request all the fans, Youtube subscribers, visitors to please keep visiting this blog for new updates until Facebook reinstates the page which I don't see happening in the near future. I am looking forward to your active participation here. Thank You !!
What about using google plus?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Tip!
DeleteWill consider using Google Plus.
G+ is getting closed by next year. Open a YouTube channel by the same name.
DeletePossible that they realized that the hits via their pages is effecting their popularity. A sign of nervousness?...
ReplyDeleteBut keep up the good work FB by taking out the page will not be able to stop people from coming her.
I don't know if it does affect their standings in the popularity ratings or not but I hope that people do come here to the blog every now and then.
DeleteThanks for your comment.
In all probability, the page is taken down at the request of DD itself due to property right issues. DD might have had contractual agreement s with vendors like Bharatbala Productions, who knows?
DeleteIt is because facebook is not sensitive to an important part of Indian sentiment. Thank you for the blog. Just make sure that the blog is one of the first finds when someone types Doordarshan in Google search. We don't need Facebook.Thank you.
